Legendary country group Alabama is hitting the road with a brand new tour in celebration of their first concert at The Bowery in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina more than 40 years ago.
The Back to the Bowery tour marks four decades since cousins Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry, and Jeff Cook began playing music together in 1973.
“The tour has been laid back and fun,” Randy Owen tells PARADE. “It’s a celebration of our lives and our career. At this point, everything is icing on the cake!”
Owen, 63, chatted with PARADE about hitting the road with his band mates, and the secret to the group’s lasting success. To read the full interview with Randy, please visit parade.com
